Hazardous Materials Training
Transporting hazardous materials is a forever revolving business from a regulatory standpoint. Regulations are constantly being changed and updated.DOT Safety Group can help you understand the regulations and train your employees. Our goal is to assist you in becoming compliant with these complex DOT regulations and become a safer motor carrier.

If you are directly associated or conduct business as defined below, you are required by law to have your employees/drivers trained into HM126.

Repairing, or modifying packages as qualified for use in the transportation of hazmat
HM225A Training
If your company is transporting Propane and/or Anhydrous Ammonia, you are also required to train your drivers in HM225A in addition to the HM126F requirements. DOT Safety Group is also your source for training in this area; we currently have many clients depending on us for their training!
DOT Safety Group will train and qualify your commercial motor vehicle drivers for Federal HazMat CDL requirements. We offer training that includes the areas needed for compliance for all other personnel as well. We can also maintain your files, ensuring you will be in compliance with all Federal regulations.
Safety Security Plan Development Service
All Hazmat Security Plans must now meet Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements. In May 2004 the DHS issued regulations that added additional requirements for Hazmat Security Plans. The regulations at that time applied only to those regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG). A subsequent ruling was published making the requirements applicable to all modes of transportation including motor carrier Hazmat Security Plans. It was a jointly issued regulation by both the DHS and the DOT.
DOT Safety Group can help you design your Safety Security Plan and assist you in meeting these mandatory requirements. We will also assist you in keeping your security plans updated so that you will be in compiance with all Federal regulatory agencies.
